Partners

True to our ethos and values as a music education company, we are always looking to partner with other institutions to provide further opportunities for both our staff and students. It is our belief that the universal language of music allows us to work hand in hand with other societies worldwide and encourage talent on a global scale.

ICMP

ICMP, based in London, has been developing and delivering music education and training to students of contemporary music for over 30 years, longer than any other UK school. We pride ourselves first and foremost on the continuing success of our alumni – who within 6 months of graduating, over  90% of our graduates are in employment or further education; around two-thirds are engaged in music-related jobs or study; and the average salary of ICMP graduates is almost 12% above that for arts graduates.

Affiliates

By building affiliations with other musical associations, we are constantly expanding our network and relationships worldwide. Here at Academy of Rock we fully support our affiliations and their contribution to music education.

Established in 2013, PERCH is a modern music teaching organisation for kids and teenagers. We respect students' personal interests and creativity, and lead them to play music with true enthusiasm.

Since 2010, PERCH faculty aligned with Beijing Midi Music School to develop Kids Education Programme, which was then presented at "Midi Kids" Stage during Midi Music Festivals. Besides, PERCH MUSIC has long-term partnership with Midi Music Festival, "Happy Player" Programme of CCTV, "My Family Got Talents" Programme of Beijing TV, Teenrock Music Festival hosted by China, Japan and South Korea, and Annual Children's Music Festival of Hunan TV. Our bands also participated National Kids and Teenagers' Rock Tournaments.

Drake Music

Drake Music is the leading national organisation working in music, disability and technology. A national arts charity working across the UK, with bases in Bristol, Manchester and London, we are a National Portfolio Organisation for Arts Council England and are also funded through Youth Music.

We have been pioneering the use of assistive music technology to make music accessible for over 20 years. In that time we have developed a wealth of innovative and imaginative approaches to teaching, learning and making music. We are experts in inclusive music-making in education and in using technology to break down disabling barriers to music-making at all levels.
